POSITION SUMMARY \\\

Looking for yet another superhero in the making to join our team. An ideal and well-rounded candidate will be capable of communicating high level creative and direction, based on client research, data and market trends, to an individual or team to ensure successful solutions through managing the process and production. The candidate will also have the ability to create the high level concepts and carry them through the entire process while managing and directing other designers.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY EXPANDED

Candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Working with Creative Director to ensure project scope, creative direction, client’s needs, and project goals are being met
  • Reviewing all project research and data to establish full scope in understanding the client and demographic(s) and their needs/issues to be solved.
  • Leading the conceptual process to establish a more focused direction to implement with the team or individually that takes into account all the strategy, branding, and marketing needs from concept to completion
  • Ability to illustrate strong graphic design principles coupled with user logic and functionality in a visual/aesthetic form
  • Demonstrate clear and engaging client presentations that logically and effectively communication solutions
  • Fully committed and proactive to the role, the team and successful client relationships

 

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6+ years design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, illustration and/or related field
  • Integrity, proactive, self-starter, responsible, and take-action type of person
  • Strong understanding of graphic design principles including: visual systems, typography, layout, color, etc.
  • Understanding and experience in Branding and Brand Strategy
  • Very thoughtful creative problem solving skills
  • High level of proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Strong knowledge and experience designing and working in web, digital, social, and mulitmedia
  • The ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced, pressured environment
  • Attention to detail always
  • Knowledge and experience of printing: setting files up, terminology, and processes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Beneficial knowledge of photography and illustration is a plus
  • Ability to direct and convey creative thoughts, concepts, and ideas clearly
  • Ability to Art Direct well in any situation called upon: Photo/video shoot, Team meetings, Client feedback critique, etc…
  • Agency experience is a big plus
  • Must be fun

 

COMP & BENEFITS
  • Compensation will be based on experience
  • Full time (40hr week / 52 weeks)
  • 1099 Contract period to W2 hire
  • Paid via direct deposit on a bi-monthly basis
  • 2 weeks vacation
  • Friday flex work schedule
